Get to Know Us
Sunset Horse Tours first opened in March 2016 and quickly became a successful business, being the only horse tour business that offered beach rides on every tour. The business grew from 2 horses to eventually 9 horses and 5 staff members by 2019. Unfortunately due to Covid-19, we made the devastating decision to close our doors in June 2021, which resulted in most of the horses being sold. Fortunately, it didn't mean the end of us!
We managed to make a few changes and officially opened again in July 2023. It has meant that we needed to start as a small business again, and operating with 2 horses and 1 pony, however we still offer the same fantastic customer service, the same beautiful beach front rides and our horses are still very much the well behaved and quiet horses that everyone loves!
There is no prior horse riding experience required, as our rides are a relaxing leisurely stroll along the beach and riders can be on lead and led along if required. We hope to continue to offer our much loved rides and attractions over the next few years, in the hope to become a booming business again.
